A little about my background. I worked for a large semi-conductor company in California as site maintenance. This included taking care of the landscape and grounds. They paid for me to go to Sierra College in Rocklin, CA were I took classes in design, horticulture and irrigation.
From there I fell in love with landscaping and took a job with a company starting off as an irrigation tech. I was quickly promoted to foreman then just a year later became an installation manager. I have taken classes from Rainbird, Aquascapes, Pavestone, Keystone, Advantage lighting and many more. I love learning and keep my eyes on new innovations to help further my designs and installations. |
After becoming the installation manager, I helped the company jump from a stagnate 800k a year to 1.3mil the following. I accomplished this with honing in my design and estimating, contacting vendors and making better deals as well as streamlining the install process with the employees.
I have a passion for tackling the hard projects and making them a reality. It starts with a fresh and unique design. Coming up with ideas that the competition has a hard time imagining. I have designed by hand and by CAD. I have used EagleCAD, Dynascapes, and VIP3D (my favorite) Take a look at a few of my designs, then don't forget to keep scrolling down! |
From basic softscapes to intricate hardscapes, I have had a part in all. I have done large commercial jobs, estate landscapes to small courtyard projects.
Synthetic lawns, putting greens, waterfalls, ponds, pavers, wall block, boulder walls, arbors, wood structures and even custom built some art for yards. The hardest part about selling the landscape is getting the customer to see your vision. This is where my enthusiasm helps along side a very well thought out design. My well rounded experience is what helps me become a great asset to your team. I can design and sell, I can manage and lead and I still like to jump into the skid steer and lend a hand. I enjoy woodworking and crafting on my down time as well as spending time hiking and fishing with my wife of 31 years. I have 5 grown children all out of the house and scattered around the country.
In my 30 years of working, I have also managed a couple of retail stores, sold flooring, designed kitchen and bathrooms and used to be a volunteer sheriff with the Sierra Nevada Search and Rescue. My Sales technique is that of making relationships. I might only be with the client for a small time, but I make that time personal and really listen to their wants and needs. Then using my experience put together a package that will hit all the right buttons. One last video of a really nice water feature I designed and built. Contact info below. |
